Gender Equality

Le Mans University is committed to ensuring equality at all levels and has established a specific project to provide women with the means of taking action on gender equality. The goal? To promote equal treatment of women and men in the workforce and raise awareness among students about equality issues in order to help them with their choice of studies and to help them in their student life and in their future professional life.

4 key principles:

• to promote diversity in the institution’s study programmes,
• to promote communication without gender stereotypes,
• to develop cross-disciplinary teaching on gender relations,
• to raise awareness of situations involving the abuse of power and to prevent sexual harassment
