Disability Master Plan

“A disability is any limitation of activity or restriction of participation in society suffered by a person in his/her environment due to a substantial, lasting or permanent impairment of one or more physical, sensory, mental, cognitive or psychological functions, a multiple disability or a disabling health disorder.”

Law of 11 February 2005 on equal rights and opportunities, participation and citizenship for people with disabilities.

Whether students or staff, the inclusion of people with disabilities is a major concern for our institution.

In order to clarify its policy in this area, Le Mans University is therefore setting up a Disability Master Plan determining the actions to be carried out between 2019 and 2020 in favor of the support and reception of people with disabilities.

This strategic document has been developed collectively with a very clear objective: to ensure that all users, students and staff with disabilities can find their place, pursue their studies or careers under the best possible conditions on our Le Mans and Laval campuses.
