The THEMIS-UM laboratory gathers almost the totality of the jurisprudence research professors together: private law professors, public law professors, and law historians.
Research relies on 2 disctinct and complementary major themes and each member of the laboratory works on these 2 themes.
The first major theme, directed by Prof. Fabrice Gréau, is called « Risque, Assurances et Responsabilité(s) ». The objective is to analyze the numerous thematics linked to general risk, especially in insurance law.
The second theme, directed by Prof. Mathieu Touzeil-Divina, is called « Hybridation et Articulation des Systèmes Normatifs ». This focuses on contemporary mutations of juridical science : articulation of juridical systems and sequences, standard genetic, link between public and private law, opposition between positive law and history.
