Santé Psy Étudiants (Student Psychological Health), a new psychological support facility

As announced by the President of the Republic, a national platform dedicated to psychological support for students has been established. Santepsy.etudiant.gouv.fr enables all students to obtain psychological support quickly and completely free of charge.

Who can benefit from Santé Psy Étudiants?

This psychological support programme is aimed at all students who wish to use it. Students already engaged in a psychological counselling programme can also benefit from it.

What is the procedure to follow to benefit from the facility?
  1. Consult the University Health Centre (make an appointment by email sec-medecine @ univ-lemans.fr or by phone 02 43 83 39 20) or your usual general practitioner, and have your student card or any equivalent document with you.
  2. Choose a psychologist from the list of professional partners in the system on santepsy.etudiant.gouv.fr.
  3. Make an appointment directly with the chosen psychologist.

The psychologist will assist you during 3 sessions of 45 minutes each. It's completely free, with no upfront fees for students.

If at the end of these three consultations you wish to continue with the support, consult the University Health Centre or your general practitioner again, who will help you to plan the rest of your consultation. It will be possible to continue the sessions with the psychologist for up to 3 new consultations, again free of charge, without any up-front fees.

Medical confidentiality is guaranteed. Only the University Health Centre is informed about your treatment course.
